Enhancing efficiency with custom software for:

Software that fits the way you already work

MouseTimer builds custom systems that plan, record and automate the work your teams do every day — scheduling it, assigning it, tracking it in one place. Rather than forcing your process into a standard product, we start from your constraints. That keeps teams coordinated, responsive to change and audit-ready, so projects run on time and nothing lives in one person’s spreadsheet.

Project Automation

For teams whose planning is too complex for a spreadsheet

Every planning process has rules that no product anticipated, which is exactly why the spreadsheet is still there.

Digitalization

For teams still working on paper and in Excel

Your forms, your steps, your sign-offs, rebuilt as software. We design the data model around how your work is documented, instead of asking you to document it differently.

AI Integration

For teams who want AI working on their own data

AI is only useful when it knows your business. We build the connections that give it your data, your rules and your boundaries.

We don't sell software. We build it around how you work.

Standard products ask you to change your process until it fits them. We start from the opposite
end: how your teams actually plan, record and hand over work, and then build the system that runs exactly that, and keeps fitting as it changes. What we build is yours. Source code, data model and documentation are handed over, so you are never locked in to us.

Who we build for

Research organizations & laboratories

Study planning, resource conflicts, paper protocols and audit pressure. This is where our platform
already runs, so we start from experience rather than from a discovery deck.

Manufacturing & industrial SMEs

Production and maintenance planning still living in Excel, machine data locked inside the machines,

quality documentation on clipboards. Our OPC UA and scheduling work transfers directly.

Project-driven service firms

Engineering offices and technical service providers juggling multiple projects against the same

finite team. Capacity against deadlines, with time and progress captured where the work happens.

From "our process is a mess" to a system in production

  1. Discovery workshop

One to two weeks, fixed price. We sit with the people doing the work, map the process as it actually runs, and write down the constraints. You get a specification and a realistic estimate whether or not you continue with us.

  2. Pilot on one real workflow

Fixed scope, typically four to eight weeks. One workflow, in production, with real users. Small enough to fail cheaply, real enough to prove the concept.

  3. Rollout & integration

We widen the scope and connect it to what you already run: single
sign-on, mail, ERP, LIMS, instruments, existing databases.

  4. Operation & hand-over

Support and further development for as long as it’s useful, and
source code, schema and documentation in your hands from the start.

Why we build software the way we do

CEO Benedict Wright
Most of the processes I have worked with were not failing for lack of effort. They were failing because the plan lived in a spreadsheet one person maintained, and every change had to be reconciled by hand. My background is in artificial intelligence and autonomous planning, and that is the part standard software usually gets wrong: it can display a plan, but it cannot compute one that respects how an organization actually works.

So we build systems that can  one organization at a time. Before any code is written, we sit with the people doing the work and write the constraints down. That is the entire method. It is why we can commit to a fixed scope, and why the software still fits a year later.
